How to Upload contacts into a Group

Trying to turn a spreadsheet of contacts into a group in MessageDesk? Then you're in the right place.

There's two ways to upload contacts into a group in MessageDesk.

Option 1

Navigate to "Groups" in the app then click on "Create Group"

To upload your spreadsheet into the new group simply click "Upload a new contact list"

From here you'll see the following ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️

From here, you'll have the option to either upload a .csv File or use our template to copy and paste your data into a .csv template.

Option 2

Navigate to Settings -> Import / Export Data and upload a CSV.

Once you upload the CSV you'll have to match up the fields from the Sheet if you added any custom ones to the ones in MessageDesk. After that click on "Next"

Then after matching the field you can then import this contact list to a specific group in the lowest dropdown box.
