In MessageDesk, we default to using the mobile field to send messages to contacts since you are typically unable to send messages to a non-mobile number.

Here's what we find, since QuickBooks makes it easy to enter numbers in the 'Home' field, you end up with a lot of mobile numbers in there.

Below, you'll find a video and step by step instructions to make sure you're able to message every contact in QuickBooks regardless of where their number is stored.

1. Navigate to the Contacts Menu

2. Select the affected QuickBooks Contact

3. Click on the 'Show More' button in the Contact profile

4. Select the checkmark next to the number you'd like to use to Message the contact

5. Click 'Save Changes'
