Sending a Broadcast to a Group makes it easy to deliver a message to many people at once.

Except.... when you don't want 1 or 2 members of that Group to receive the message.

That's why we added exclusions to Broadcasts.

How to Exclude a Contact or Group from a Broadcast

It's not just contacts that can be excluded from Broadcasts, you can exclude entire groups of people as well.

This is extremely helpful when you need to keep information private, like in the example below.

If you don't know how to you can start by reading this overview on Broadcasts.

  1. Start off by creating your Broadcast.

  2. Toggle on the 'Exclude Contacts' option

  3. Once you toggle it on, you can begin choosing which Contacts and Groups to exclude.

    1. You can choose multiple groups in addition to multiple individual contacts.

In this example, we've created a Broadcast which is announcing a surprise birthday party for Dan! πŸŽ‰

Since Dan is an employee, he is a part of the Employees group, so it'd be a good idea to keep him from receiving this message.
