How to add contacts to different groups based on what they reply to your message with.

Interested in sorting your contacts into groups based on what they reply with? Then you’re in the right place.

With MessageDesk, you can use Autoresponders to sort contacts into groups based on Keywords that you set up.

An example is setting up a Subscriber group that people get added to once they text “SUBSCRIBE” to your MessageDesk phone number.

It only takes 3 steps to set this up in MessageDesk:

  1. Navigate to the Autoresponder section of the MessageDesk app

  2. Create a new Autoresponder by clicking on the “New Autoresponder” button

  3. Fill in the fields with the information below:

Now, whenever someone texts “SUBSCRIBE” to your MessageDesk account they’ll automatically receive the text you specified and get automatically added to the group you specified.
