1. Connect Existing Phone Number

You'll need a phone number to send messages out, lets make sure you get the right one.

By default, MessageDesk assigns you a temporary local area code number for the duration of your free trial.

At some point, we encourage you to connect a preferred phone number to your account.

You have 1 of 3 options for connecting a phone number in MessageDesk:

Keep your Temporary Phone Number:

Feel free to keep the randomly assigned phone number!

Connect Existing Landline or VoIP Phone Number:

Connect any U.S. or Canada-based VoIP or Landline phone number to MessageDesk.

Upon connection, you'll manage all SMS with MessageDesk. Your calling/voice features will not be disrupted.

How to connect an existing phone number:

Find a New Phone Number with Local Area Code:

You can search for a new local phone number with these steps:

  1. Log in to MessageDesk

  2. Click the Phone Number in the top-left corner of screen

  3. Select "Get a new phone number"

  4. Select "Choose new local phone number"

  5. Type in an area code & select desired phone number
