By default, MessageDesk is going to assign you a temporary local area code number for the duration of your trial.

You have 1 of 3 options for a phone number in MessageDesk:

Keep the number:

You are more than welcome to keep the number that we assigned you in your MessageDesk account when you move to a paid subscription.

If you aren't happy with the number, continue reading!

Local Area Code:

You can use a local area code number in MessageDesk. We'd be happy to assign a number to your account from your local area code.

Use your Own Number:

You can use your own phone number that customers already know. This will only work if it's a number for a business landline.

To initiate the hosting process, you can fill out this form. If you are unsure of what hosting is, or have more questions about this process refer to this article.

If you need help changing your number or aren't sure which option is right for you, feel free to reach out to our team.
